Tower Crew Subcontractor for GCs, Turf Vendors & Tower Owners

One crew, full scope. We staff and run the tower work inside your contract — erection, antenna and equipment installs, decommissioning, foundations, compound build-out, maintenance and storm response — under your MOP, your schedule, your paperwork.

Overview

Most of our work comes in as a subcontract: a turf vendor or GC holds the master service agreement with the carrier or tower owner, and we show up as the crew that actually climbs, pours, bolts and wires. We're built around that relationship — we work to your scope of work (SOW), your method of procedure (MOP), and your site access windows, and we hand back exactly the documentation your closeout process needs.

We don't sub work out to unknown crews and we don't show up short-handed. The same leads that walk your site walk the tower, and the same office that quotes the job runs the paperwork after it's done.

What's Included

  • Tower erection — monopole, self-support lattice and guyed structures, new builds and section replacement
  • Antenna & equipment installation — 4G/5G modifications, antenna swaps, RRU and radio installs, feedline runs
  • Tower & equipment decommissioning — carrier equipment removal, full structure dismantling, site restoration
  • Foundations & concrete — drilled piers, pier-and-pad, guy anchors, anchor bolt cage setting to template
  • Compound build-out — fencing, gravel, ice bridge, H-frames, cabinet pads, grounding
  • Inspection & maintenance — structural walk-downs, lighting compliance, corrosion treatment, torque checks
  • Storm & emergency restoration — rapid-response crews for damage assessment and repair
  • Underground fiber and OSP work is handled through vetted partner crews when it's part of a turnkey site scope — it is not a standalone service we market, but we coordinate it so your site closes as one job

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work direct-to-carrier or only as a subcontractor?
The majority of our work is as a subcontractor to GCs, turf vendors and tower owners who hold the prime contract. We're set up to plug into your MOP, your site safety program and your reporting format rather than run our own.
Can you handle more than one trade on the same site to cut our subcontractor count?
Yes — that's the point of this page. A single Kelvan crew can take a site from foundation through antenna install and compound build-out, so you're coordinating one subcontractor instead of four for a single tower.
What do you need from us to quote a turnkey scope?
Drawings or RF data sheets, the SOW/MOP, site access details and NTP timing. See /hire-a-tower-crew for the full list of what we need from you and what you get back.
Will we get our own point of contact, or does the job get passed between crews?
One project lead is assigned to the site for the life of the scope — the same person who walks the site with you is the one your field super calls during the work.
Do you carry your own insurance, or do we need to add you to ours?
We carry our own general liability, umbrella, workers' comp and commercial auto coverage and provide a COI with additional insured status and waiver of subrogation on request — see the insurance figures below.
