Overview
Texas's size means site conditions vary more within the state than almost anywhere else we work — Gulf Coast hurricane exposure, Panhandle and North Texas severe storm and tornado activity, and wide rural distances between sites in West Texas, all inside one state.
Climate & Seasonal Conditions
The Gulf Coast (Houston, Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley) carries hurricane and tropical storm exposure during the June–November season. North and Central Texas, including the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, see significant severe thunderstorm and tornado activity in spring. Extreme summer heat statewide affects crew scheduling and concrete cure timing on foundation work.
Typical Work in Texas
- Gulf Coast storm damage assessment and restoration after hurricanes and tropical systems
- Severe weather damage repair in North and Central Texas following high-wind and tornado events
- 5G densification and equipment modifications in the Austin, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio metro corridors
- New tower builds supporting continued build-out in rural and exurban areas, where distances between sites are longer than in most states
- Summer heat scheduling around concrete pour and cure windows on foundation work
